Dr Carolyn Smith has lived and worked in Canberra for over 30 years. She graduated from University of Queensland with Bachelor of Dental Science in 1981. Carolyn has worked in various private and public dental clinics throughtout rural NSW and Canberra. Having a large family herself, Carolyn joined Lyneham Dental Care in 2000 to further pursue her passion in family dentistry.

In addition to our accredited practice policies and procedures, we have included extra steps and precautions. This list is evolving and updated frequently to reflect the changing situation of the coronavirus (COVID-19).

In light of the coronavirus (Covid-19) situation, we ask for your help to protect the health and safety of our Lyneham Dental Care community - that's you, our patients, family and our team.
At this point, no patient or member of staff, is or has been infected by the virus. Lyneham Dental Care is operating as normal, welcoming patients and ensuring they receive the very best care.
I arrived in Canberra in 1988 and began working as an assistant dentist for Dr. Ted Weissel at Lyneham in 1991.
Over the pursuing 18 months I familiarized myself with the practice, and built up a core clientele of just over 300 before purchasing half the practice from Dr. Weissel. Experience from working in other public and private practices enabled me to formulate a long-term vision for the practice; fortunately that vision materialized, albeit very gradually, over the following 20 years.
