Dr Stuart Long grew up in Canberra. He graduated from University of Sydney with Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1987. In 2008, he completed the Graduate Certificate in Clinical Dentistry from Adelaide University. Stuart has worked extensively in public and private dental clinics in Australia and overseas, and was the Principal Dentist for ACT Community Health. He joined Lyneham Dental Care in 2006.

Stuart is actively involved in his professional life and committed to ongoing education. He has served for many years as the Secretary of the local Dental Association. In more recent years he completed a Graduate Certificate in Dentistry from Adelaide in 2007. He has also completed advanced training in CEREC Dentistry in Scottsdale, Arizona, and is part way through the Implant Dentistry Program at the Dan Brener Institute in Sydney.

Outside dentistry Stuart enjoys a range of pursuits including gardening and cooking. He particularly enjoys wetting a line or sitting around a campfire in the great natural settings this part of the world has to offer.
